Gülcü Olive Oil, which was established by Ekrem Gülcü as a family company in Birgi,
which was established on the slope of Bozdağlar in Ödemiş District of İzmir,
started in 1966 by purchasing an oil shop opened in 1950 in Birgi,
our historical and cultural heritage from the past to the future.
20 years later, with the development of olive squeezing technologies in the world,
it allocated a place at the entrance of Birgi in 1986
and established the first Continuous facility of the region by importing
it from an Italian company.
Our company expanded its targets and opened its second facility
in İzmir Torbalı Çakırbeyli village in 1996,
again with machinery and equipment imported from Italy.
Our company, which adopts hygiene and quality olive oil production as a principle in its facilities,
has registered the Gülcü olive oil brand and continues
its sales of packaged and branded olive oil since 2002.
